Job Description:
The Data Analyst and Visualization Specialist will function as a member of the broader Data Processing team and would be assigned a variety of data processing/visualization tasks to meet the specifications of the company’s diverse clientele and project designs.
Essential Duties:
- All aspects of data processing, based on specific client requirements
- Work with our programming and project management teams to ensure that data specifications have been met
- Create crosstabs, charts, dashboards, and other custom deliverables to meet specific client objectives and needs
- Apply, and be able to speak to, survey design/analytic techniques such as Max-diff, choice modeling, TURF analysis, segmentation, multivariate regression, etc.
- Advise clients on various data processing, analytic, and visualization options
- Identify process improvements and training opportunities to maintain a continuous high quality of client service, deliverables and innovation
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements:
At a minimum, the candidate would have the following skills and qualifications:
- At least 2 years of relevant market research experience or a Master’s Degree in Market Research, Statistics, Decision Science, Quantitative Social Science or related field.
- Working expertise of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent written skills, including superb proofreading skills
- Excellent math skills and attention to detail
- The ability to prioritize multiple projects and juggle tasks to meet deadlines
- Excellent references
The ideal candidate would also have:
- Working expertise of some software/tools we use – primarily Q Research Software, Displayr, Power BI, SPSS, Sawtooth or Uncle
- Experience coding in R, JavaScript, VBA or Python
- Working expertise in analytic techniques specific to MR/survey data
- Experience creating client-facing dashboards (ideally in Displayr, Power BI or Tableau)

Like most in our industry, we are seeing many challenges during this ongoing Covid-19 crisis. And while we are certainly not in full-on hiring mode at this time, our Data Processing team continues to be very busy. We would like to chat with you if you are a Data Processing Specialist who uses the tools we use here, specifically SPSS and Q Research Software.
Were you to join our team, either now or down the road once this crisis has begun to dissipate, responsibilities would include:

Job Description:
We seek an experienced Decipher Survey Programmer to join our rapidly growing team.
The candidate will join our team of survey programmers and be responsible for both (a) the technical aspects of online market research execution as well as (b) assisting with process automation and improvement.
Working with limited supervision, the programmer will use our platforms to program surveys, manage data and associated deliverables, and develop custom features.
The position will work closely with Client Service teams and programming teammates, and the key day-to-day activities are: programming, quality assurance, data manipulation, tabulation, and project communication/coordination.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate would have the following skills and qualifications:
- Experienced and proficient in Decipher platform with at least 2-3 years experience preferred
- Have experience with Python 2.7, XML, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Work collaboratively as part of a very cohesive team
- Be able to handle multiple projects and occasional high-intensity deadlines
